Round Top Forensic Weather & Hail Impact Report

Look, I’ve been replacing roofs out here for over twenty years, and if there’s one thing I tell every homeowner in Round Top, it’s that we’re sitting right in the bullseye of Texas weather. We’re not tucked away in a valley or shielded by hills—we’re out on this open, rolling prairie where the wind just gets a running start. When those spring storms roll in off the Hill Country, they don’t break up; they barrel straight across these fields, and that flat, exposed land acts like a wind tunnel. And it’s not just the springtime either, though that’s the worst of it.
