By the time August rolls around and that brutal Louisiana sun bakes the exposed mat, you’re looking at premature cracking and curling that turns a 20-year roof into a 10-year roof. That’s why I always tell my customers in Bossier—if you hear that loud “pop-pop-pop” on your skylight during a storm, don’t wait for the ceiling stain.
