Our storm season really ramps up from late May through August, but we also get those wild October wind events that can peel back flashing like it’s tin foil. The combination of that intense UV radiation at our altitude making shingles brittle, followed by a sudden blast of freezing hail and 60-mile-an-hour wind, is a recipe for disaster. Honestly, if you’ve got a roof that’s more than ten years old, you’re not just at risk—you’re on borrowed time until the next big cell rolls over the pass.
